Budget 2023 – urgent help needed to save Britain’s pubs and small breweries

We are writing on behalf of the Campaign for Pubs urging you to take decisive action in the Budget on 15th March, to support and save many pubs and small breweries, that are struggling due to the cost-ofliving crisis.

We do not get the impression that the Government either understands the crisis facing pubs and small brewers or that it really cares. This is a feeling very widely held by publicans and brewers. You have the opportunity to change that, with a properly targeted package of support announced on 15th March, to ensure that thousands of the UK’s pubs and hundreds of smaller breweries can survive this crisis, then continue to trade successfully in the years to come…
