Morag Douglas, Campaign for Pubs Spokesperson for Scotland said:
“I’m delighted to have been appointed as Campaign for Pubs Spokesperson for Scotland. The Campaign for Pubs brings together publicans, campaigners and customers and also small brewers and we exist to campaign for a better, fairer future for pubs.
“I have seen the pub trade change dramatically in the last few years, and it is only going to get more challenging. I believe someone needs to fight for the little guys and I am really looking forward to being able to help give them a voice. So I look forward to representing the Campaign and lobbying the Scottish Government to do more to listen to and support Scotland’s pubs at this very difficult time”.
Greg Mulholland, Campaign Director of the Campaign for Pubs said:
“We’re delighted to appoint Morag Douglas as Campaign for Pubs Spokesperson for Scotland. Morag is an experienced licensee and has shown through her work in the licensed trade and her community campaigning that she can be a powerful campaigner for Scotland’s pubs. I look forward to working with her and Scottish licensees and campaigners to help fight for a better future for Scotland’s pubs”.
