This General Election has come at a crucial time for the UK’s world-famous pubs and our important and celebrated pub culture.

We are calling on election candidates to commit to protect and support pubs. We need pro-pub MPs who will push for a range of important policies to support and save pubs and our world famous pub culture.

We urgently need a different approach from the next Government – with a clear commitment to both understand the reality of the situation facing pubs and publicans (and also the many communities fighting to save pubs) and then to introduce the right policy solutions to stop the current wave of unnecessary closures and allow pubs and publicans to get through the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
